Vehicle Technician

About the role

Join Lookers Glasgow Volvo as a Vehicle Technician in a modern workshop environment. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing health checks, services and repairs on a wide range of new and used vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Perform vehicle health checks, report any additional work required and complete minor repairs.
• Conduct full vehicle services and MOTs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Fit customer‑requested accessories and check lights, tyre pressure, mechanical and electrical components.
• Road‑test vehicles to confirm fault resolution and complete all paperwork to a high standard.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Valid MOT licence and full UK driving licence.
• Self‑motivated, team‑oriented and eager to maintain the highest standards.
