Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

About the role

Join a 24/7 vehicle operations centre in London as a Warehouse Operative on the night shift. You will support the flow of parts and equipment by receiving, storing and dispatching stock throughout the night. The role is ideal for candidates with warehouse or logistics experience who can work independently and maintain high accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming deliveries.
• Accurately check, count and record stock movements.
• Pick and issue stock items for operational teams.
• Ensure inventory is correctly stored and organised.
• Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain records using warehouse management systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Prepare shipments and returns as required.
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe and organised.
• Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory environment.
• Ability to work permanent night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Use of warehouse management systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift licence (desirable, not essential).
