Warehouse Operative with Forklift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join a globally recognised manufacturer in High Wycombe. The role involves moving raw materials and finished products, supporting production, and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate Counterbalance and/or Pivot Forklift trucks.
• Move raw materials and finished products throughout the site.
• Ensure accurate booking‑in and despatch of goods.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient operations.
• Uphold quality standards and site procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Undertake additional duties as required to support business objectives.

Required profile

• Valid Counterbalance or Pivot Forklift licence.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Reliable, trustworthy and self‑motivated attitude.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 kg.
• Comfortable standing and working throughout a shift.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: COSHH training, knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures, understanding of safety practices within a food manufacturing environment.

What we offer

• £14.43 per hour (temp‑to‑perm opportunity).
• Full‑time hours, Monday to Friday with rotating weekly shifts (5:45 am‑2:00 pm / 1:45 pm‑10:00 pm).
