Weekend Concierge

About the role

Adullam is seeking a Weekend Concierge to join its team in Stoke‑on‑Trent. You will help keep the centre safe, secure and welcoming for residents and service users, many of whom have experienced homelessness or multiple disadvantages.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the health, safety and security of the premises, including regular CCTV checks.
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep tasks to ensure an orderly environment.
• Monitor and support tenants, residents and service users, responding to any safety concerns.
• Move equipment and furniture as needed to maintain a functional space.
• Follow Adullam’s policies, procedures and Christian ethos in all interactions.

Required profile

• Experience working as a concierge or in a similar front‑of‑house role.
• Awareness of the challenges faced by vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals.
• Organised, able to multitask and work independently during weekend shifts.
• Physical agility to handle equipment and move items around the building.

Required skills

• Health and Safety knowledge (COSH).
• CCTV monitoring.

• £15,600 per annum for a 25‑hour weekend contract.
