About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 2‑6 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers immediate start dates and the flexibility to work full‑time, part‑time or on a day‑to‑day supply basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum to Year 2‑6 pupils in a variety of school settings.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each school and class.
• Complete minimal marking and planning for short‑term assignments.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching Year 2‑6 classes.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Adaptable and confident working across different schools.
• Professional attitude with a proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• Effective communication with pupils and staff.
• Ability to follow and implement existing lesson plans.
