Year 4 Class Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join a supportive Year 4 classroom in Kingstanding, Birmingham. This full‑time role involves delivering the Year 4 National Curriculum and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for pupils during a pivotal stage of their education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 4 National Curriculum.
• Support pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and wellbeing.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress against school expectations.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
• Promote positive behaviour and inspire a love of learning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
• Recent experience teaching in a primary school, preferably Key Stage 2.
• A nurturing, engaging teaching style.
• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom‑management abilities.
• Commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential.
