About the role
We are looking for a 1‑1 Specialised SEND Tutor to join our team in the Anglesey area. The role combines classroom teaching of core subjects with mentoring to help young people develop life and employability skills.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver functional‑skills support and teach core subjects to pupils on a one‑to‑one basis.
- Plan and accompany trips around the local area to promote community integration.
- Assist pupils with CV writing, future planning and essential life‑skills development.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and support tailored to the needs of SEND learners.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils in the UK.
- UK teaching experience and a creative, patient approach.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references.
