About the role
Academics is seeking a dedicated tutor to provide one‑to‑one support for a KS1 student in Ramsgate. The position is home‑based, offers flexible hours and an immediate start, with the aim of delivering personalised learning that builds confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to the child’s needs.
- Provide consistent 1:1 support in the student’s home.
- Adapt teaching approaches for any additional needs or SEN requirements.
- Monitor progress and encourage confidence in the learner.
Required profile
- Experience working with primary‑aged children, preferably KS1.
- Background supporting children with additional needs or SEN.
- Reliable, patient and passionate about helping children succeed.
