1:1 Learning Support Assistant (SEN) – Primary School

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work with SEN pupils in a thriving primary school in Feltham. The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one support to SEN children in Key Stage 1 or 2.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and adaptations.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and other staff to ensure inclusive learning environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience working with Key Stage 1 or 2 pupils.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
