About the role
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEND in a welcoming primary school in West Kirby. The position runs from September 2026 to February 2027, full‑time, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support tailored to the pupil’s individual needs.
- Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum and building confidence.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to promote the pupil’s development.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children who have additional needs.
- Calm, patient and proactive attitude.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Genuine passion for supporting children.
