12‑Month Credit Trading Business Management Internship

About the role

Join the Global Markets Division in London’s Capital Markets trading room for a 12‑month internship focused on Credit Trading Business Management. You will support the Credit Trading Business Manager in strategy implementation, IT project monitoring, compliance, and process improvement across both secondary and primary credit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring product line strategy and IT projects.
• Act as first line of defence to ensure compliance with external and internal regulations.
• Support production of trading and sales management reports.
• Handle day‑to‑day queries from IT, Compliance, Risk, Finance and other business functions.
• Produce daily and weekly Credit P&L and conduct commercial analyses.
• Respond to operational risk, control and audit enquiries, conducting investigations as needed.
• Review, update and maintain Credit Trading policies and procedures.
• Automate and improve spreadsheets and related documents.
• Prepare analyses, business plans and governance presentations for Credit stakeholders.
• Assist in ongoing and key desk projects.
