1st Line Support Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing Managed Service Provider, is seeking a motivated 1st Line Support Engineer. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues across a diverse client base, delivering remote assistance and ensuring smooth incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming support tickets, telephone and email queries.
• Provide remote technical support for Windows operating systems, Office 365 and networking environments.
• Troubleshoot user issues and document resolutions.
• Escalate complex incidents to the 2nd Line team when required.
• Assist with system maintenance, monitoring and documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a 1st Line or Service Desk role within a commercial setting.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Windows 7/8 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Working knowledge of Intune, Jamf, SharePoint, Teams setup and Azure administration.
• Familiarity with hosted telephony systems and Windows Server (GPO, AD, File Servers).
• Understanding of basic networking tools and a customer‑first mindset.
