1st Line Support Technician – Redhill

About the role

We are looking for a motivated 1st Line Support Technician to join a growing managed cloud services provider in Redhill. You will be the first point of contact for SME customers, handling technical queries from start to finish while developing your skills across Microsoft technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log support requests via phone and email, keeping customers informed throughout the resolution process.
• Troubleshoot day‑to‑day issues on Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualisation and backup solutions.
• Escalate complex problems to senior engineers when required.
• Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge bases and service‑desk process improvements.
• Work within a ticketing/IT service management system to track and close incidents.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about solving problems and learning new technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying organised and calm.
• Team‑player attitude and a desire to build a long‑term career in technical support.
