24/7 Business Travel Consultant – Remote UK

About the role

Flight Centre is looking for an experienced, customer-focused travel consultant to join its 24/7 servicing team supporting a large corporate account. This is not an emergency assistance or on-call role; instead, you will provide continuous travel servicing around the clock, working remotely from anywhere in the UK within a collaborative team.

The role follows a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts from 08:00 to 20:00 or 20:00 to 08:00.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver travel consultancy services for a large corporate client in a 24/7 environment
• Manage complex domestic and international bookings using GDS technology
• Provide travel advice and itinerary management support
• Use strong fare knowledge to find accurate, cost-effective solutions
• Handle travel disruptions, itinerary changes and urgent requests
• Build relationships with travellers, clients and internal stakeholders
• Anticipate needs and proactively suggest service improvements
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail, and work independently during overnight shifts

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Travel Consultant
• Corporate or business travel experience strongly preferred
• Extensive travel industry knowledge and strong fares knowledge
• Proven ability to manage complex bookings and work independently
• Strong customer service mindset, attention to detail and positive, adaptable approach
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders; additional languages desirable

Required skills

• Strong GDS experience
• Experience with Amadeus GDS preferred
