2nd Line IT Engineer – Hull

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced 2nd Line IT Engineer to provide hands‑on technical support and assist with IT project work for around 200 users across multiple sites. You will work primarily with Microsoft technologies and help implement and deploy new applications and infrastructure changes. The role is based in central Hull and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support for network, software, system and hardware issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior teams when required.
• Support IT projects, including implementation and deployment of new applications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Entra ID/Active Directory and Azure services.
• Assist with IT security technologies and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Experience working on IT projects.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Entra ID/Active Directory and Azure.
