About the role

Speedy Hire is seeking a reliable 3.5 ton flat‑bed van driver for a fixed‑term position based in Walthamstow, East London. You will deliver hire equipment to customers across the local area, representing the company’s values and commitment to service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 3.5 ton flat‑bed van to collect and deliver hire equipment.
• Plan and follow efficient routes while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Inspect the vehicle daily and report any issues.
• Provide a professional, customer‑focused service at each stop.

Required profile

• Valid full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Good knowledge of the Walthamstow and wider East London area.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.
• Willingness to walk for long periods and work in all weather conditions.
