3.5T Delivery Driver – Avonmouth (Temporary)

About the role

We are recruiting for a reliable, customer‑focused 3.5‑tonne van delivery driver to join a busy team based in Avonmouth, Bristol. The role is temporary, covering a six‑day period in September, and involves delivering specialist coatings and related products to customers across the South West while representing the business professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily multi‑drop deliveries to customers throughout the South West.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring secure handling.
• Perform vehicle checks and maintain the van to a high standard.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude on each visit.
• Assist with warehouse duties, stock handling and order preparation when not on route.
• Follow health and safety procedures and ensure compliance at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous van driving and multi‑drop delivery experience preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of Bristol and the South West.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to lift and move products safely.
• Reliable, punctual, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous.
