3.5t Delivery Driver – Multidrop (Basingstoke)

About the role

This temporary position is based in Basingstoke and involves delivering, installing and demonstrating a range of white goods, televisions and cookers to customers across the South East. The role starts on a one‑month contract with the possibility of extension, working approximately 45 hours per week on a shift pattern that can include any day of the week.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver, install and demonstrate white goods, TVs and cookers in customers' homes.
• Engage with customers, keep them informed and ensure a high standard of service.
• Use the Savvy handheld device to record deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
• Liaise with manufacturers at delivery points when required.
• Secure and manage loads throughout the day, using straps and sack barrows.
• Report any issues promptly and adapt to changes in delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Full UK/EU Category B driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) or ability to obtain one.
• Valid digital tachograph card (desirable, will be provided if successful).
• Previous experience driving a 3.5 t vehicle with a clean record (no driver‑blame accidents, no more than 3 new points).
• Physical ability to handle and load heavy products safely.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining licence and training.

Required skills

• Operation of the Savvy handheld delivery device.
• Use of digital tachograph equipment.
