3.5t Delivery Driver – Multidrop (Temp, Milton Keynes)

About the role

This temporary position is for a 3.5 tonne delivery driver based in Milton Keynes. You will be the face of a white‑goods retailer, delivering, installing and demonstrating a range of electrical products in customers' homes across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver, install and demonstrate white goods, televisions and cookers at customer premises.
• Engage with customers, keep them informed and ensure a high‑standard service.
• Maintain contact with the depot throughout the day, manage changes to delivery requests and escalate issues as needed.
• Use the Savvy handheld device to record visits and obtain customer signatures.
• Secure loads in the vehicle, adjust weight distribution and use provided equipment such as straps and sack barrows.

Required profile

• Full UK/EU Category B driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card (desirable, provided if successful).
• Previous experience driving a 3.5 t vehicle with a clean record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of loading, unloading and handling products.

Required skills

• Proficient use of the Savvy handheld operating device.
• Basic knowledge of manual handling and health‑and‑safety procedures.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £17.20.
• Overtime paid at 1.5× the standard rate after 40 hours per week.
• Opportunity to extend the contract beyond the initial three‑month period.
