3.5t Multi‑Drop Delivery Driver – £17.20/hr

About the role

We are seeking a reliable 3.5 tonne driver to carry out multi‑drop deliveries of white goods, televisions and cookers across the South East. You will be the face of the business, ensuring safe delivery, installation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver, install and demonstrate white goods, TVs and cookers at customers’ homes.
• Engage with customers, keep them informed and obtain signatures using the Savvy handheld device.
• Maintain regular contact with the depot throughout the day to manage changes and escalations.
• Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery when required.
• Handle all products with care and support colleagues in safe handling practices.
• Manage and secure varying loads throughout the shift using straps and sack barrows.

Required profile

• Full UK/EU Category B driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Valid Digital Tachograph card (provided if successful).
• Previous experience driving a 3.5 t vehicle with a clean accident record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and work approx 45 hours per week on flexible shifts.

Required skills

• Operation of the Savvy handheld operating device.
• Use of a Digital Tachograph card.
• Manual handling and load‑securing techniques.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £17.20 (overtime 1.5× after 40 hrs).
• Temporary 3‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
