360 Excavator Operator (10 Tonne) – Warrington

About the role

We are seeking an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our busy terminal in Warrington. The role involves operating a 10‑tonne excavator with grab and clamshell attachments to support freight and material movements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 360 excavator using grab and clamshell attachments.
• Organise and maintain terminal stockpiles for optimal efficiency.
• Keep walkways, access routes and operational areas clear and safe.
• Load and unload HGVs and rail wagons safely.
• Perform daily plant inspections, maintenance checks and record fluid levels.
• Report equipment defects promptly to minimise downtime.
• Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with basic administrative duties such as weighbridge entries.
• Provide guidance to HGV drivers and visitors to ensure safe terminal operations.

Required profile

• NPORS or CPCS certification for operating a 360 excavator.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating a 360 excavator.
• At least 2 years experience using grab or clamshell attachments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to commute to Warrington (ideally within 40 minutes).
• Good physical fitness and a reliable, team‑oriented attitude.
