365 Email & App Support – Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position providing desktop and application support for a fast‑growing organisation. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, handling requests via the IT Support mailbox and delivering on‑site and remote assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for Windows 7/10/11 and macOS devices.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services – Exchange, Entra, Intune, user and group provisioning.
• Maintain on‑premise Active Directory and troubleshoot email issues using Mimecast and Exchange.
• Ensure newly provisioned laptops are enrolled in Intune and fully configured.
• Support a range of internal applications (Deskbird, KnowBe4, Sophos, Synology NAS, Microsoft Dynamics, Ubiquiti Wi‑Fi, CodeTwo).
• Manage the IT Support mailbox, respond to tickets using standard templates, and escalate when necessary.
• Coordinate starter and leaver processes, keeping documentation and distribution lists up to date.
• Monitor printer consumables, order software licences and assist the team with documentation and communication needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in desktop support or a similar help‑desk role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work on‑site in Hemel Hempstead.
• Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining tidy documentation and inboxes.
