3PL SME – Logistics Operations (12‑Month Maternity Cover)

About the role

The 3PL SME will act as the primary liaison between Stryker Logistics Operations and its third‑party logistics partner, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and optimal inventory management across multiple systems.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact with the 3PL warehouse, leading daily calls, KPI reviews and Gemba walks.
• Monitor and enforce KPI performance, troubleshoot operational and regulatory issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory alignment between Stryker’s Oracle system and the 3PL’s enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning to resolve under‑ or over‑delivered shipments and manage MDR stock reintegration.
• Own logistics process documentation, develop SOPs, training materials and drive lean improvements.
• Coordinate inventory compliance activities and support UK waste‑reporting initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education desirable.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience working in a team, meeting tight deadlines and solving problems.
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Ability to work on‑site in Newbury for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
