5-Axis CNC Machinist – Day & Night Shifts

About the role

We are seeking an experienced 5‑axis CNC Machinist to join a leading engineering manufacturer in Bognor Regis. The role offers both day and night shift options, regular overtime and the chance to work on high‑performance composite components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5‑axis CNC machines.
• Machine epoxy, PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
• Program and edit CNC code for complex, high‑precision parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards.
• Follow SOPs, troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and tooling records.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5‑axis machining.
• Confident in programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset.
• Commitment to safe working practices and teamwork.
