7.5 Ton Driver – Leeds

About the role

Pertemps is recruiting experienced 7.5‑tonne drivers to work for Parcelforce Worldwide in the Leeds area. This temporary but ongoing position offers a reliable schedule delivering mail and parcels across Leeds and surrounding locations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5‑tonne Royal Mail vehicle on assigned routes in Leeds and nearby areas.
• Load and unload mail and parcels, handling items up to 20 kg safely.
• Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams, maintaining punctuality.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, keep the vehicle clean and report any defects.
• Provide courteous customer service and represent Parcelforce professionally.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence with Category C1 (7.5 t) and no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid tachograph card.
• Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
• Physically fit to lift parcels up to 20 kg.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Previous experience driving a 7.5‑tonne vehicle.
• Good knowledge of Leeds, Rotherham and surrounding areas.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £15.06.
• Monday‑Friday shift, 10:00‑18:00.
