7.5 Tonne Collections & Delivery Driver

About the role

Join DPD’s sustainable delivery team as a 7.5 tonne Collections and Delivery Driver. You’ll operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle on a fixed route, using cutting‑edge technology to ensure parcels reach customers safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle across a local route with 50‑60 stops.
• Use DPD’s Saturn handheld device to record deliveries and track progress.
• Load and unload parcels, employing sack barrows or hand trucks for heavier items.
• Provide a friendly, professional face for customers on each delivery.

Required profile

• Valid C1 (7.5 tonne) licence with DQC/CPC accreditation.
• At least 6 months experience operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Physically fit and able to lift parcels safely.
• Professional, approachable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Saturn handheld delivery device.
