7.5 Tonne Driver – Full‑time Temporary Role in Wigan

About the role

We are seeking a reliable 7.5 tonne driver to join a well‑established client in Wigan. The position offers competitive hourly pay, full training and the chance to work on a consistent Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with occasional Saturday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently across the North West.
• Complete 5‑10 deliveries per shift to commercial properties.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries, including hand‑balling goods as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to all transport regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Valid UK Category C1 driving licence.
• Valid CPC card and digital tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes (DR10, DG10, IN10, TT99).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable and professional attitude.
• Previous experience in multi‑drop or commercial deliveries is desirable.
