7.5 Tonne Lorry Driver – Temp to Perm, Local Routes

About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified 7.5 tonne lorry driver to join our team in Staines. This temporary‑to‑permanent position offers local delivery routes, regular Monday‑to‑Friday hours and a supportive environment to build confidence and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 7.5‑tonne vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Deliver goods safely and professionally to customers.
• Load and unload the vehicle, with assistance where needed.
• Follow planned routes and schedules.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks.
• Pick and pack orders in the warehouse.
• Assist with stock organisation and keep the warehouse clean.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence with 7.5 T entitlement and a CPC card.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome – training and support provided.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move goods.
• Team player with a reliable work ethic.
