7.5 Tonne Multi‑Drop Delivery Driver – Exeter

About the role

Our client in Exeter is seeking a reliable 7.5‑tonne multi‑drop delivery driver to join a busy home‑delivery team. Working as part of a two‑person crew, you will transport furniture, appliances and other household goods directly to customers’ doors, ensuring safety and a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 7.5‑tonne vehicle safely in line with UK road transport regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Load, unload and secure heavy or bulky items for delivery.
• Deliver goods to customers’ homes on schedule, providing courteous service.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use the company’s delivery management system.
• Maintain a clean, road‑worthy vehicle and adhere to driver‑hours and tachograph rules.

Required profile

• Full UK Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shift patterns.

Required skills

• Category C1 driving licence.
• Driver CPC certification.
• Digital tachograph operation.
