7.5T Driver – Afternoon Shift

About the role

Join Greencore’s Southampton distribution depot as an afternoon‑shift 7.5‑tonne HGV driver. You will be part of a team that delivers fresh and frozen food to convenience retailers and forecourts across the South East, ensuring stores receive the stock they need each day.

Key responsibilities

• Complete 8‑12 hour routes, handling 10‑20 drops per day.
• Deliver chilled and frozen products safely and on time.
• Adhere to the shift pattern of Sunday‑to‑Friday with a rolling rest day and mandatory Sundays.
• Log hours accurately, including night‑time premiums and overtime after 42 hours.
• Partner with a colleague during the initial training period.

Required profile

• Strong people skills – interaction with store staff is essential.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least six months, with no more than six penalty points.
• Minimum six months HGV experience driving 7.5‑tonne vehicles or larger.
