7.5t Driver – Delivery (Glasgow)

About the role

Join DX Network Services as a 7.5t Driver based in Glasgow, delivering parcels and freight on a multi‑drop route. You will be the face of DX, ensuring every customer receives their goods safely, on time, and with a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX professionally at all times.
• Drive vehicles safely and legally, complying with all company and statutory requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects, and complete required paperwork.
• Scan all products using DX scanning equipment and load deliveries securely.
• Manage routing to meet premium and timed delivery commitments.
• Use appropriate PPE and ensure equipment is in good order.
• Report any on‑road or delivery issues to the traffic office immediately.
• Handle customer interactions politely and resolve issues effectively.
• Carry out collections according to instructions and schedules.

Required profile

• Valid C1 (or above) licence with DQC and Tacho card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no driving bans.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.

Required skills

• Operation of DX scanning equipment.
