7.5t Driver – Full‑time Delivery Role

About the role

DX Network Services is looking for a reliable 7.5‑tonne driver to join its Westbury depot. You will operate a multi‑drop delivery route, transporting customers’ parcels and freight safely and on time while providing a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX professionally and adhere to all legal and company driving requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects and complete required paperwork.
• Load deliveries safely, scan all items using DX scanning equipment and manage routing to meet premium and timed delivery commitments.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure it is maintained.
• Report any on‑road or delivery issues to the traffic office promptly.
• Interact politely with customers, resolve issues and ensure parcels are delivered in excellent condition.
• Carry out collections according to instructions and scheduled times.

Required profile

• Valid C1 (or higher) licence with DQC and Tacho card.
• No more than six penalty points and no current bans.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and ability to build rapport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DX scanning equipment.
• Ability to plan and follow delivery routes efficiently.
• Knowledge of health and safety and PPE usage.
