Academic Notetaker – Support Students with Disabilities

About the role

Randstad Student Support is seeking reliable Academic Notetakers to assist students with disabilities in Cornwall. You will attend a variety of lectures, seminars and group sessions, producing clear, legible notes that enable learners to fully engage with their coursework.

Key responsibilities

• Attend lectures, seminars and tutorials and create accurate handwritten notes.
• Review and format notes after each session to ensure they are ready for student use.
• Maintain a professional relationship with each student, respecting confidentiality at all times.
• Act in the best interests of learners while adhering to institutional policies and procedures.
• Communicate any concerns or student needs promptly to Randstad.

Required profile

• Neat, legible handwriting.
• Good typing ability.
• Strong spelling and grammar.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work under time pressure.
• Organised with the capacity to manage multiple sessions.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties is desirable.
