Access Network Management Consultant – London

About the role

Join a global team of 8,000+ network professionals to lead end‑to‑end RAN transformation programmes for Tier‑1 operators. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging business strategy and hands‑on technology across Open RAN, 5G, satellite and emerging AI‑driven networks.

Key responsibilities

• Support full‑cycle RAN transformation, from multi‑generation migration (2G → 5G SA) to Open RAN adoption.
• Develop business cases, TCO models, NPV/ROI analyses and present to C‑suite and board stakeholders.
• Lead pre‑sales solutioning for O‑RAN, SD‑WAN, satellite and private 5G, including RFI/RFP responses and commercial pricing.
• Define target RAN architectures aligned with cloud‑native, virtualised (vRAN/CU‑DU split) principles.
• Own technical delivery, manage deployment, testing, risk and quality gates across workstreams.
• Drive network optimisation, KPI baselining, root‑cause analysis, parameter tuning and feature activation using SON and closed‑loop automation.
• Apply Generative AI, ML and autonomous network techniques to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technical advisor to leading mobile operators.
• Comfort presenting business cases to senior executives and conducting detailed design sessions with vendor engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of RAN value chain, multi‑workstream programme delivery and stakeholder management.
