About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hard‑working Accommodation Assistant to support a busy student residence during the summer departure and arrival period. This hands‑on role ensures rooms are prepared, inspected, and ready for incoming students, creating a smooth transition while supporting the site team with operational and administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a friendly and welcoming first impression for residents.
- Check in new students and direct them to their allocated rooms.
- Assist with move‑out procedures.
- Support the on‑site office team with general administrative duties.
- Conduct room departure checks and inspections.
- Clear bedrooms and kitchens from departed rooms.
- Support carpet cleaning duties across the residence.
Required profile
- Positive and proactive attitude with good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to undertake physical duties, including room clearances and cleaning tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
