Account Director - Event Services

About the role

As an Account Director for Event Services, you will drive revenue by managing and expanding relationships with global clients, delivering tailored live, virtual and hybrid event solutions that maximise audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with major existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Develop and implement up‑selling and cross‑selling strategies to grow revenue within accounts.
• Conduct strategic account assessments and create plans to maximise growth opportunities.
• Lead sales presentations, negotiations and the overall sales process in collaboration with the sales team.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to forecast revenue and produce regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, event delivery and customer support to ensure a unified client approach.
• Negotiate and finalise contracts, working with legal and finance to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or revenue‑generating account management, preferably within the communications or events industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and securing new business.
