Account Director – M&E Services

About the role

NG Bailey is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead one of its flagship M&E services contracts in London. This senior position offers full ownership of service delivery, financial performance, and client relationships for a high‑visibility engineering and facilities services account.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for gross profit, work‑in‑progress, and aged debt.
• Ensure contract KPIs and SLAs are consistently met through regular performance reviews.
• Design and implement a bespoke customer relationship programme to drive satisfaction and new business.
• Lead, coach and develop resident and mobile teams, with a focus on succession planning.
• Manage staffing levels and resource allocation to match operational demand.
• Oversee project works, leveraging wider business capabilities when required.
• Uphold rigorous health, safety and compliance standards.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement across the account.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Account Director or senior FM leader on large‑scale, high‑value contracts.
• Demonstrated record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and retain high‑performing teams.
• Commercial acumen and a talent for identifying new opportunities.
• Background in M&E or facilities management with solid technical grounding.
