Account Executive (Commercial Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive to help build and grow our new Bristol office for an independent insurance broker. The role involves managing a portfolio of commercial and corporate clients, delivering tailored insurance solutions and supporting the long‑term success of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing commercial client relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the general commercial and corporate sectors.
• Conduct client reviews and provide consultative insurance advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to establish the Bristol office as a trusted provider of commercial insurance.
• Support retention and growth strategies for the specialist client base.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance with a strong understanding of general commercial risks.
• Commercially minded with the ability to work autonomously and drive results.
• Experience in sectors such as haulage, transport, logistics or motor fleet insurance is highly beneficial.
• Excellent relationship‑building and client‑service skills.
