Account Executive – Commercial Insurance

About the role

This position is for an experienced Servicing Account Executive within a respected insurance brokerage. You will manage a specialist portfolio of commercial clients, building long‑term relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a specialist portfolio of commercial clients, providing proactive insurance service.
• Develop trusted relationships with clients, insurers and key stakeholders.
• Own the full client journey – renewal strategy, financial planning, retention and growth.
• Design tailored insurance solutions based on each client’s risk profile.
• Meet regularly with clients to manage expectations and provide ongoing advice.
• Collaborate across the business to identify new opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Account Handlers and team members to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge of commercial insurance products.

Required profile

• Proven commercial insurance experience in an Account Executive or servicing role.
• Strong technical knowledge of major commercial insurance classes.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and negotiation skills.
• Organised, self‑motivated and able to manage a varied workload.
• Commercially focused with a proactive, professional approach.
• Team player who enjoys collaboration.
