About the role
Sardine is looking for an experienced Account Executive to drive sales across the EU and UK. You will champion Sardine’s fraud‑prevention platform with Fortune‑1000 companies, large financial institutions, fintechs, neo‑banks and digital asset exchanges. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the listed European countries.
Key responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with executives in Business, Technology, Risk and Compliance to raise awareness of Sardine’s value proposition.
- Lead in‑depth discovery sessions to understand client challenges, existing tech stacks and strategic priorities.
- Position yourself as a thought leader in digital transformation, identity, compliance and fraud prevention.
- Manage the full sales cycle: qualify opportunities, craft tailored demos with Solutions Engineering, negotiate terms and close contracts.
- Collaborate with Growth, BDR and cross‑functional teams to provide market feedback and refine go‑to‑market strategies.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years selling to Tier 1 financial institutions, fintechs or neo‑banks.
- Proven network of senior industry executives and a track record of consultative, multi‑threaded sales.
- Ability to translate risk, compliance and technical challenges into clear business value.
- Strong research, planning and detail‑orientation, with excellent communication and public‑speaking skills.
- Experience structuring complex deals and solid financial acumen.
- Willingness to travel across the UK/EU and internationally as needed.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of UK/EU financial regulations (FCA, PSD2, AML directives) is highly desirable.
What we offer
- Generous cash and equity compensation with early‑exercise options.
- Remote‑first culture with flexible paid time off and a year‑end break.
- Health, dental and vision coverage for employees and dependents (US/Canada specific).
- 401k/RRSP matching (US/Canada specific).
- MacBook Pro, home‑office stipend and monthly meal/social meet‑up allowances.
- Annual health, wellness and learning stipends.
- Opportunity to work with world‑class professionals in a fast‑growing company.
