About the role

Join a respected independent insurance broker in London as an SME Account Handler. You will support Account Executives and manage a portfolio of small‑ and medium‑sized commercial clients, gaining exposure to increasingly complex risks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of SME commercial clients.
• Support Account Executives with renewals, mid‑term adjustments and client servicing.
• Prepare market presentations and obtain quotations from insurers.
• Build strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
• Handle day‑to‑day enquiries and provide professional advice.
• Assist with larger commercial accounts as your experience develops.

Required profile

• Experience in a commercial insurance broking environment.
• Previous support experience as an Account Handler or Account Executive.
• Good knowledge of SME commercial insurance risks.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Organised, proactive and keen to develop your career.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
