Account Handler – North America Binders

About the role

You will join a leading global Lloyd's broker, part of a team that supports specialist risks across North America. The role focuses on handling third‑party Binding Authorities, ensuring accurate preparation, acceptance, validation and monthly premium/exposure reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and issue Binding Authority Agreements (BAAs) and endorsements.
• Send BAAs to coverholders for acceptance and validate them with insurers.
• Maintain ATLAS records and calculate profit commissions.
• Liaise with placing brokers, insurers, coverholders and agents to resolve queries.
• Produce monthly risk‑level data, aggregates and statistics, monitoring significant changes.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Account Handler or Technician dealing with NA Binders, preferably in property or related risks.
• Strong knowledge of Lloyd's market, delegated authority business and US property insurance.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of US regulatory requirements is a plus.
