Account Manager – Client Relationship & Growth

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a growing organisation in Leeds. You will own a portfolio of client accounts, act as the primary point of contact and drive long‑term relationships while identifying opportunities for growth and service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, becoming a trusted point of contact.
• Monitor account performance against agreed service levels and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for account growth, retention and upselling.
• Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to ensure satisfaction and proactively address concerns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements efficiently.
• Support implementation of account development plans and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Produce reports, updates and performance information for clients and senior management.
• Resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.
• Maintain awareness of market activity and competitor presence within key accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Operations Manager or similar role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of client service delivery.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client locations.
