Account Manager – Client Relationships (Health & Safety)

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to nurture and grow existing client relationships for a consultancy that specialises in health, safety and environmental risk management within the commercial property sector. The role is based on the outskirts of Bar Hill, Cambridge and focuses on delivering value through trusted partnership rather than aggressive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for an established portfolio of clients.
• Maintain and deepen relationships by understanding client needs and identifying opportunities to add value.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
• Monitor account performance and provide strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or client‑facing roles.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Consultative, non‑salesy approach with a focus on long‑term partnership.
• Enjoys working with people rather than chasing quotas.
