Account Manager – Ground Engineering Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our client, a market‑leading specialist in ground stabilisation and asset protection. Working remotely from anywhere in the UK, you will combine technical knowledge with commercial expertise to grow new business and strengthen existing client relationships across infrastructure and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage existing client accounts and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Conduct online and site‑based client meetings and surveys.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design tailored technical solutions.
• Interpret site investigation data to support treatment designs.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals in line with company standards.
• Negotiate contracts, close opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for Geobear’s services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, civil engineering or related infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in business development, consultative sales and account management.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Relevant qualification in construction, engineering or surveying.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems.
