Account Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading UK‑based technology company, is looking for an Account Manager to oversee a defined sales territory and grow an existing portfolio of over 60 UK accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, upselling a full range of safety solutions, and meeting new‑business, retention and renewal targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a territory of existing accounts and upsell a full portfolio of services.
• Achieve new‑business, retention and renewal sales targets.
• Handle day‑to‑day customer inquiries and issues.
• Nurture customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
• Deliver presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on customer usage to ensure high retention rates.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of account‑management sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience working in a metric‑driven environment and ability to forecast and deliver on KPIs.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to build meaningful client relationships.
• Confident presenter to senior audiences.
• Self‑motivated and able to generate own opportunities.
• Capable of managing complex customer queries with precision.
