Account Manager – Luxury Airline Catering

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to lead relationships with our airline catering customers, ensuring the delivery of premium, first‑class service and menu solutions. You will act as the company’s ambassador, coordinating across operations, safety, menu development and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with contacts at all levels of the customer organisation.
• Understand contractual deliverables and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Communicate and implement account plans, attend internal and external client meetings, and act as the interface between internal functions.
• Use data to drive objective decision‑making and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Manage customer audits, inventory discussions, and the distribution of customer instructions.
• Investigate and respond to complaints, delays and service‑impact incidents promptly.
• Support the Senior Account Manager in coordinating trials, capturing action points and presenting corrective plans.
• Oversee accurate performance data capture and flag trends related to on‑time performance and safety.

Required profile

• Strong experience in the airline industry or related sectors such as catering, logistics, hospitality or retail.
• Proven account management or customer service background.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Strategic and commercial thinking with strong analytical and numeracy abilities.
• Process‑driven mindset comfortable handling complex data requirements.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
