Account Manager – Retention & Upselling

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our Retention & Upselling team in Bournemouth. You will work on a 15‑month fixed‑term contract, engaging existing customers and driving additional revenue through targeted service offers.

Key responsibilities

• Contact existing customers daily to promote and upsell services such as Dry Mixed Recycling, Food Waste Collection, WEEE Waste, Confidential Waste, Feminine Hygiene & Washroom Services, and Carbon Offset Options.
• Use tailored templates to deliver persuasive value propositions and increase customer lifetime value.
• Follow up with undecided clients via calls, emails, or SMS to close deals.
• Record all interactions and outcomes accurately in the CRM system.
• Participate in weekly performance reviews and feedback sessions to refine sales techniques.
• Maintain high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout all interactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in telesales or outbound calling.
• Strong communication and persuasion abilities, with a talent for handling objections and closing deals.
• Energetic, resilient, and target‑driven personality.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.

Required skills

• CRM software proficiency.
