Account Manager - Scientific Instrumentation

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Account Manager to drive sales of scientific instrumentation across the South East. You will support academic, CRO, biotech and pharma laboratories by understanding their needs and recommending the right analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer pain points and propose suitable products from our portfolio.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while prospecting new business opportunities.
• Conduct instrument demonstrations, presentations and negotiations on‑site.
• Travel up to 60% of the time to customer sites across the South East.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in laboratories.

Required profile

• BSc minimum in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Proven experience in scientific or technical sales, with an understanding of the sales process.
