Account Manager – Scotland

About the role

Our client, a successful FMCG business operating across the UK, seeks an Account Manager to manage a loyal customer base across Scotland. Working autonomously from home and travelling to client sites, you will maintain existing relationships and support occasional new business development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of existing clients across Scotland, primarily around Edinburgh.
• Qualify new leads and lapsed users.
• Meet clients on site to ensure satisfaction, discuss needs and upsell opportunities.
• Provide a personable account management solution to retain business.
• Offer tailored, consultative solutions for long‑lasting relationships.

Required profile

• Experience in sales or business development.
• Personable approach to building relationships.
• Strong desire to exceed targets.
• Articulate professional presentation.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Based within commuting distance to Edinburgh.
